Why Veroma?
Most gym towels are an afterthought. We designed Veroma for people who train consistently and want gear that actually lasts.
It's 70% bamboo viscose and 30% cotton terry. Bamboo keeps it soft and resists odour between sessions. Cotton adds structure and absorbency. At 500gsm, it feels substantial without weighing down your bag.
Reinforced edges prevent fraying at the corners — where cheaper towels fail first. The elastic band keeps it rolled between sessions. Small details that make a real difference.
What it's made from, and why
70% Bamboo Viscose
Soft on contact and less hospitable to the conditions that cause odour build-up between sessions. It goes through a manufacturing process to become the textile you feel — we call it bamboo viscose, not "raw bamboo," because that's more accurate.
30% Cotton Terry
The terry weave — looped construction — is what gives the towel genuine absorbency. The cotton adds structure and keeps the bamboo blend from becoming too soft to dry effectively.
500gsm
A measure of fabric density. 500gsm is on the heavier side for a gym towel. It's what makes it feel like a considered object rather than an afterthought.

Care for your towel
Machine wash 30–40°C
Tumble dry low, or air dry flat
Do not bleach
Avoid fabric softener — it reduces absorbency over time
First 2–3 washes may see minor shedding — normal for terry weave, stops quickly.
FAQ
Is this softer than microfiber?
Yes. Bamboo cotton terry has a fundamentally different feel to microfiber — softer on contact and without the synthetic drag that microfiber develops over time. It stays that way through repeated washing.
Will it shrink?
Minor shrinkage can occur in the first one to two washes, particularly on high heat. Wash on 30–40°C and tumble dry low or air dry to maintain the original dimensions.
Does the odour resistance actually work?
Bamboo fibre is less hospitable to the conditions that cause odour build-up. We won't overstate it — but most people notice the towel holds up noticeably better between washes than standard cotton or microfiber.
Is it suitable for hot yoga?
Yes. The terry weave absorbs well in high-heat environments. It's not a grip-specific yoga towel, but it works well for wiping down and post-practice use in any studio setting.
How long does shipping take?
Australia: 3–7 business days. International: 7–14 business days. You'll receive a tracking link once your order ships.
What's your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on unused towels. If the quality isn't what we described, contact us regardless — we'll sort it out.

Bamboo cotton vs microfiber
What's the difference?
Microfiber is lightweight and fast-drying, but the synthetic fibre can feel draggy against skin and tends to pill and develop odour over time.
Bamboo cotton terry is heavier and slower to dry, but it's softer, holds its texture through repeated use, and resists odour build-up.
Choose microfiber if weight matters. Choose bamboo cotton terry if comfort and durability matter more.
